Sunday Funday. First ever attempt at making pasta ๐Ÿ‘€

Now, I just purchased this bad boy off amazon for ยฃ25 made by kitchen craft. Didnโ€™t really take the time to read the reviews ๐Ÿ™„ I kinda just bought it because it yellow and it looks cool. Sucked right in ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Before I play, letโ€™s start with the pasta dough. Iโ€™m told this is a straight forward one through my research ๐Ÿ˜‚

No idea how much pasta this will make, but here goes….

400g of all purpose flour (Iโ€™m told the Italian OO is the best, but where am I getting hold of that right now?)

4 eggs ๐Ÿฅš

Pop it all in a blender and wazzz it up
Throw the mix onto your floured surface
Knead it for a few minutes. Then wrap in cling film and place in the fridge for 30 mins

Now while thatโ€™s doing itโ€™s thing, itโ€™s time to get the machine ready. Like most things these days, thereโ€™s a YouTube video for everything, so Iโ€™ve done my research that way ๐Ÿ˜‚

Now Iโ€™ve cleaned and floured up the machine and got it set to it widest setting. Here goes nothing…..

Screwed it and realised it needed clamping down ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ Definitely make sure you clamp it down…..other it goes flying ๐Ÿ˜‚

Flatten out the dough from the fridge
Start on the widest setting, which is my case was numbered โ€˜1โ€™
Number 2
Number 3
Number 4
Number 5
Number 8 (you got the drill by now)

Now time for the cutting. Going for a tagliatelle ๐Ÿ˜‹

OMG ๐Ÿ˜ฏ
Phew ๐Ÿ˜…

Then to finish off, I pretended like Iโ€™m artsy, grabbed a clothes hanger and left it do itโ€™s thing. Pretty happy with the first ever attempt, the real test is in the taste which Iโ€™ll find out later on this evening ๐Ÿ˜‹
